The City of Anderson welcomes residents, businesses, civic groups, and other organizations that would like to do their part to help Beautify Anderson!

Adopt an Island - Click here to claim your own greenway or spruce up a traffic island around town
  • Sponsors are required to provide the plants (shrubs, flowers, or ornamental grasses), mulch, etc.
  • Sponsors must commit to continual maintenance chores as weeding, deadheading, and fertilizing, as well as Spring and Fall cleanup for a 2 year period.  
Downtown Anderson & Bridges in Bloom - Help fill our streets with beautiful hanging flower baskets
  • Each basket can be adopted for $125.  This fee covers new flowers and season-long maintenance
