The Federal HOME-ARP program provides a total of $5 billion to assist individuals or households who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, and other vulnerable populations.  It is funded through The American Rescue Plan (ARP)  The funding can be used to provide housing, rental assistance, non-congregate shelter, and/or supportive services.

City of Anderson is slated to receive $1,372,583 in HOME-ARP funding to address homelessness and increase housing.

The City of Anderson is currently completing the gap analysis and needs assessment as part of its planning for HOME-ARP funds.  As part of the efforts, the City of Anderson is currently soliciting feedback from stakeholders and community members in developing a draft Allocation Plan to determine how to spend the HOME-ARP funds.

Draft HOME-ARP Allocation Plan - Public Comment

The City is seeking public input on the Draft Allocation Plan.   Input can be provided by one of the options below between March 13, 2023 and March 27, 2023 before 3:00 p.m.
