Laboratory Section

The Anderson Police Department operates a Forensic Lab under Criminal Investigations. The Forensic Lab performs daily analysis of evidence as well as responding to major crime scenes.

Det. Richardson has been a police officer since 1995 and in the forensic unit since 2004. Det. Richardson is Forensic Video Analyst and is trained in crime scene evidence collection, photography, videography and digital imaging.

Det. Stanton joined the police department in 1987 and has been involved with the forensic lab since 1998. Since that time he has also been assigned to our department's computer support section and that experience has allowed him to add computer forensics to our department's lab services. He is also trained in crime scene evidence collection, photography, videography and digital imaging.
