Detective Section

The Detective Section of the Anderson Police Dept. investigates adult felony crimes occurring within the Anderson city limits. The section consists of a Lieutenant, two Sergeants, and twelve detectives. Also falling under the Detective Section is the Forensic Lab, consisting of two technicians specializing in fingerprints, photographs, and evidence collection, along with a civilian chemist.

The Detective Section has personnel working M-F from 7:00am until 11:00pm, with a supervisor and detective on call at all times, including nights and weekends.
