Description:
Fiscal Agent for the City of Anderson. The Controller's duties are to prescribe the form of reports and accounts to be submitted to the departments. Signs and issues all warrants on the city treasury; audit and revise all accounts and trusts of the city; keep separate accounts for each item of appropriations made for each city department.Manage the finances and accounts of the city and make investments of city money, subject to the ordinances of the legislative body; issues various city licenses, collects fees; administer payroll,enforcement and collection of special assessments; prepare city budgets.
