Catholic H.E.A.R.T. Program

This faith based organization Catholic H.E.A.R.T., which stands for "helping everyone attain repairs today" is a work camp, comprised of approximately 360 young people from all over the U.S.A. between the ages of 16-21.  The participants spend a week at preselected locations doing a variety of work such as painting, landscaping, and small repairs. The group will be in Anderson in July.  Community Development staff will coordinate activities with this organization, conduct income verifications for participants and promote community development and participation, thereby adding another component to neighborhood revitalization. The goal for 2006 is to complete 10 homes for income eligible families/individuals.
