Annual Action Plan

Anderson’s One Year Action Plan is a document that identifies housing and community development needs, sets priorities, establishes goals, and defines strategies to work towards the identified goals. The primary tools to address priority needs are federal entitlement funds, one competitive federal grant, and private partnerships. The City of Anderson receives two entitlement grants from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME). To receive these entitlement grants, the City of Anderson is required to complete a five-year Consolidated Plan with annual updates, called Annual Action Plans.
