27th Annual Reverend J.T. Menifee City-Wide Cleanup

Description: May 19 marks the 27th annual Reverend j.T. Menifee City-Wide Cleanup from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. volunteers will meet at 16th and Madison where the city will provide gloves and trash bags upon request. Anderson residents with a valid ID may dispose tires, oil-based paint, major appliances, furniture and more at designated sites. Our main collection site is Athletic Park. We will host a volunteer appreciation lunch at Jackson Park at 11:30 a.m.

Christian Center 3rd Annual Golf Outing

Description: Come support The Christian Center's men's shelter, community dining, and community assistance programs through the 3rd Annual Golf Outing! Registration includes greens fees, a golf cart, and cookout dinner as well as prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and for the longest drive, closest to the pin, and putting contests. Golfers will have the opportunity to win door prizes, and for one last chance to purchase raffle tickets for local restaurant gift certificates, automotive care, coffee & dessert prize baskets. ($1 each or $20 for 25). Golf Registration is $75 per individual or $300 per team (ask about early bird rates & veteran's discounts for those registering before the 16th!) Registration can be sent or brought to 625 Main Street, Anderson, IN 46016. Raffle tickets may be purchased at Red Door Vintage & Thrift from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at 621 Meridian Street and through staff, board members, and volunteers.
