Anderson Speedway – Home of the Pay Less Little 500! Built in 1948, Anderson Speedway is proclaimed as the world’s fastest high-banked quarter mile oval motor speedway. Different types of automobile racing and events are offered every weekend in March through October.
The Paramount Theatre Centre & Ballroom
Enjoy live entertainment inside this 1929 “atmospheric” theater underneath the wispy clouds and twinkling stars in what looks like 16th Century Spain. Indiana Department of Tourism Development lists the Paramount Theatre as one of the Top 9 destinations to visit in Indiana.
Mounds State Park
Adjacent to the Anderson Municipal Airport, Mounds State Park has some of the best preserved mounds in the state built by prehistoric Adena and Hopewell people. The park offers camping, hiking trails, picnic areas, Visitor Center with Naturalist activities, swimming, fishing and more!
