Anderson Municipal Airport (AID) is a General Aviation airport owned and operated by the City of Anderson, Indiana, conveniently situated near I-69 in Madison County just northeast of Indianapolis. Located adjacent to Mounds State Park in Anderson, the airport is just minutes from other
attractions in the area including the Paramount Theatre, Anderson Speedway, and the new Hoosier Park Horse Racing & Casino. Whether you are learning how to fly, based on the airport, or just making a quick fuel stop, everyone is always welcome here at the Anderson Municipal Airport!

The Anderson Municipal Airport is proud to present a modern facility and two large runways. The Anderson Municipal Airport offers one of the
lowest air fuel and hanger rental costs in the region, and as a Class D airport, it has its own control tower. The Anderson Municipal Airport also owns and operates the adjacent
Aero Industrial Park. Our airport is not only a great airport for pilots, but it is also a great opportunity for businesses. Come visit us and see all we have to offer!

The Anderson Municipal Airport is celebrating 50 years on July 10, 2010! The day takes flight at 7:00 am EDT with hot air balloon rides, a pancake breakfast benefiting Youth for Christ (7-11), radio-controlled aircraft, boy scout events, Presenting of Colors by the Civil Air Patrol, showcase of aircraft, Mike Melvill recognition (previous member of local EAA Chapter 226), Hot dog & Hamburger cook-out benefiting Indiana State University Flight Team, possible Aircraft including: Pitts, Extra 300, P-51 Mustang, ReMax Hot-Air Balloon, PT-26, BT-13, gliders, Corsair, and misc. military aircraft. Aircraft parking is free. General car admission we ask for $5 donation to benefit local EAA Chapter and other volunteer aviation groups. Please save the date for what promises to be an awesome event!
