The Park Road East circuit was out of service this morning, affecting 965 customers on the west side of Anderson.
A utility pole was broken as a result of a vehicle collision. It was necessary to de-energize the circuit to allow crews to work safely. At 12:30 pm crews were able to re-energize the circuit, restoring power to all but 300. By 2:30 pm, crews were able to route around the issue, restoring power to most affected customers except for 5. Crews remain on the scene and will continue to work for those 5 residences until the task is completed and power is restored.
