ANDERSON, IN – United Way of Madison County will host its Annual Meeting & Awards Celebration on Wednesday, March 8 at Hoosier Park Racing and Casino. At the event called Community Game Night, attendees will participate in interactive game activities while learning about the accomplishments of the 2016 campaign and the positive community changes it made possible. The event will also recognize the accomplishments of a number of dedicated volunteers, businesses and organizations through the presentation of awards.
Two long-standing volunteer awards will be presented - Volunteer of the Year and RSVP Volunteer of the Year. Also presented will be awards for Outstanding Campaign Coordinator and the Spirit of United Way Award. In addition, two new awards will be presented – the Community Builder award and Rise to the Challenge award.
The interactive dinner event, which begins at 5:30 p.m. at Hoosier Park, is open to the community. Cost is $50 per person or $400 for a table of eight. Sponsorship options are also available.
